PLANNING
We can all dream of a perfect wedding… a wedding that runs effortlessly from morning to night and goes all day without a hitch (apart from the obvious one of course!)
This needn’t be a pipedream, but to achieve it takes planning, preparation and careful money management.
Perhaps you are reading this and thinking that you needn’t bother putting in any effort as it will all work out perfectly on the day anyway. Don’t get me wrong, with zero planning and budgeting and a whole load of luck your day may go smoothly, but to be honest that chance is slim. I can guarantee you that the more time and devotion you invest in the days, weeks, months and even years leading up to the wedding, the more fantastic a time you will have on your Big Day.
Good planning is crucial to the success of any project, and that’s effectively what your Wedding Day is – a big project. The only differences between this and any other large project that you may have worked on in the past, is that this time you are doing it for yourself and your partner. Everything you are working on is for one 24-hour period in your life, and most importantly, it’s fun and exciting!
Whatever you may think, it is never too early, nor is it too late, to begin planning. A wedding that has been well planned will be obvious to all on the day, whereas a one with little or no planning will lead to a stress-ridden and uncoordinated event that you may well live to regret in later years.
It may all seem a little daunting at the moment, but rest assured, The team at Mel’s Brides are here to help, so calm down, take a deep breath and we’ll get through this together! So the first thing you need to do is come to our shop and make us all a nice cup of coffee.
